Cybersecurity AI Forward Deployed Engineer - FDE - Manager
Accenture Security is hiring a Cybersecurity Forward Deployed Engineer at Manager level: a production engineer embedded inside a client's enterprise, working shoulder to shoulder with their security and engineering teams to make AI systems secure, governed and resilient. Accenture is explicit that this is not a security consulting, compliance advisory or pen test role. You own outcomes such as reduced attack surface, production-safe AI deployments and measurable security posture improvement.
Agentic coding (Claude Code, Cursor or GitHub Copilot) is the primary method of delivery. You work in a small Reinvention Delivery Engine pod that runs 90-day delivery cycles and owns build, deploy and optimize end to end.
What you'll do:
- Lead AI security architecture and threat modeling for production agentic deployments: LLM systems, multi-agent pipelines, RAG and MLOps infrastructure.
- Build AI-powered detection systems, automated threat response tooling and governance automation hands-on.
- Own AI-specific threat surface management: OWASP LLM Top 10, prompt injection hardening, model extraction prevention and AI supply chain security.
- Implement AI governance (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, model risk management) on live systems and advise client CISOs and CTOs.
- Manage and develop a team of engineers.
What they're looking for: 8+ years of production engineering with depth in AppSec, SecOps/detection, cloud security, IAM, offensive security or GRC; at least 1 year designing and deploying agentic AI in production; 6+ years of client-embedded security delivery and cloud security on AWS, Azure or GCP. Travel varies from 0 to 100%.
Salary range varies by state ($80,400 to $316,300 across listed US states). Posted Oct 12, 2026; listed until Nov 27, 2026.
