Forward Deployed Engineer / Sr. FDE

Atomic, founded by former Tesla supply-chain leaders, is rebuilding supply-chain planning (quantities, mix, allocations, timing) with an AI-native optimization stack, replacing spreadsheets and legacy planning software.

The role: Forward Deployed Engineers own customer deployments end to end, doing the same technical work as core engineers but client-facing and embedded across the whole problem:

• Data: build automated, normalized pipelines on top of customers' messy real-world supply-chain data
• Modeling: shape optimization logic and models to how each business actually runs (data science / ML a plus)
• Front end & AI: build interfaces and AI features for analyzing plans
• Integrations: wire Atomic into customer systems and partner platforms

You: 3+ years (FDE) or 6+ years (Sr. FDE); backgrounds in planning, supply chain, data engineering, consulting, finance or industrial engineering; significant experience coding with AI under strict guardrails; comfortable turning customer business problems into software at startup speed.

Based in NYC, Boston, Austin or Reno; remote positions also available.
