Senior Forward Deployed Engineer

Attune is a Chicago-based healthcare voice AI company whose agentic voice platform runs health risk assessments, schedules appointments, manages prescription reminders and handles post-procedure follow-ups. Attune lists its open roles on LinkedIn from its company page.

What you'll do

• Design, build and iterate on voice AI conversation workflows and agents for healthcare clients.
• Build API integrations between the platform and client CRMs, EHRs, CCaaS platforms and data warehouses.
• Build and maintain data pipelines in and out of the platform via webhooks, SFTP and APIs.
• Own technical delivery for new client launches from requirements to production, and troubleshoot across the voice engine, telephony and integration layers.
• Feed client patterns back into reusable product capabilities with platform engineering.

What you bring

• 5–7 years of software engineering experience and strong production Python.
• REST APIs and third-party integrations (OAuth, webhooks, API keys); JSON, CSV, SFTP and file-based ingestion.
• YAML-heavy configuration and cloud basics including Kubernetes, Docker and secret management.
• Daily use of AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot, Cursor) and strong communication with non-technical stakeholders.

Hybrid in Chicago's West Loop, 3 days a week in office.
