Forward Deployed Engineer

Bausch + Lomb is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) to turn AI from pilots into scalable production capabilities across the enterprise. This is a hands-on builder role embedded within business divisions and corporate functions.

Build and deploy: Design, code, and deploy AI-enabled solutions (generative AI, agents, ML, workflow automation); integrate with enterprise apps and data platforms; own prototype-to-production including testing, security/compliance, release, and monitoring.

Embed and adopt: Work with business leaders and end users to diagnose workflows, drive sustained adoption, build training materials, and contribute reusable patterns across the enterprise.

Qualifications: Degree in CS/Engineering/IS or equivalent; production software/solution delivery experience; Python and modern API/integration skills; Azure or GCP; hands-on GenAI/agents/ML in production; stakeholder collaboration in complex organizations. Preferred: pharma/medical device/healthcare; Copilot/Azure AI/Claude; Snowflake/Fabric.

Location: Bridgewater, NJ (Hybrid). Starting pay $170,000–$200,000. Full-time. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship).
