Bitmovin's first Forward Deployed Engineer: a greenfield role embedded in the Encoding engineering team (10 EU-based engineers) while serving as the technical face of Bitmovin for marquee US media and streaming customers.

  • Contribute production code (Java/Kotlin, C++ encoding stack) in the Encoding team's sprints.
  • Own US enterprise accounts technically, covering EU off-hours: triage encoding issues and drive incidents to resolution.
  • Turn field learnings into better product.

Tech stack: C++/Java, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, GCP, Azure. Travel up to 25%; based on the US East Coast or in Denver.
