Forward Deployed Engineer

Booz Allen is hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer to turn validated AI solutions into working customer deployments. U.S. citizenship is required for this role (R0251817).

What you'll do

• Work directly with customers to implement workflows, integrate enterprise systems and demonstrate solutions meet agreed technical acceptance criteria.
• Adapt reusable agent components, configure customer environments and instrumentation, and diagnose integration, retrieval, model and workflow issues.
• Establish customer evaluation baselines, coordinate readiness reviews, and prepare deployment, rollback, troubleshooting and enablement materials.
• Own implementation quality, initial deployment and handover to operational owners; return reusable improvements and recurring defects to engineering.

What you bring

• Experience delivering customer-facing software or AI implementations from requirements through deployment and handover.
• Python or TypeScript; integrating enterprise APIs, authentication, data sources and business workflows.
• Agent workflows, model integrations, RAG and tool connections; cloud/enterprise deployment, secrets and app security controls.
• Customer-specific test and evaluation suites; tracing, logs and metrics for troubleshooting.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination; Bachelor's degree.
