Forward Deployed Engineer

Capgemini is hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer to design, build and deploy production AI/ML and agentic solutions alongside operations teams and SMEs, from rapid prototype to production and measured impact.

What you'll do

• Design, develop and deploy production-ready AI/ML solutions using traditional ML, LLMs, agentic AI, RAG and workflow automation.
• Build scalable backend services and APIs with Python, microservices, MongoDB, Kafka and event-driven architectures.
• Develop agents using tool calling, prompt engineering, context management, guardrails and evaluation frameworks.
• Analyze operational data with SQL, Spark and Databricks for root-cause investigations; convert resolution patterns into reusable platform capabilities.

What you bring

• 8–10 years in ML, software or data engineering, including 3–5 years hands-on with agentic and generative AI.
• Experience deploying and supporting production AI/ML services at enterprise scale.
• Python, REST APIs, microservices, MongoDB, Kafka, distributed systems; LLMs, agents, RAG and AI evaluation.
