Forward Deployed Engineer

Capgemini's Forward Deployed Engineers are deployed alongside client business and technology teams in New York. An FDE independently owns a customer use case from discovery through production deployment and handoff, coordinating the delivery team and combining strong technical execution with business and domain understanding.

What you'll do

• Lead discovery and problem framing with client stakeholders, and define success measures, the value hypothesis and target outcomes before anything is built.
• Own the solution architecture and build the critical path hands-on, delivering rapid prototypes, proofs of value and production-ready increments.
• Steer AI tooling and teams to produce production-quality output, verifying it for reliability, security, performance, compliance and business outcomes.
• Design and implement AI-powered workflows with appropriate human oversight, and own the specification and acceptance criteria the team builds against.
• Drive production readiness: reliability, security, compliance, observability and supportability.

Permanent role. Base compensation range for the posted location: $140,000 to $180,000.
