Forward Deployed Engineer

Capgemini Financial Services' FS Applied AI team (part of the FS AI Enterprise Hub) is hiring Forward Deployed Engineers (internally "Outcome Delivery Engineers") who embed with banking and insurance clients and own a use case from discovery through production deployment, adoption and handoff.

What you'll do

• Lead discovery and problem framing with client stakeholders; define success measures and target outcomes.
• Own the solution architecture and build the critical path hands-on; deliver rapid prototypes, proofs of value and production-ready increments.
• Design and implement AI-powered workflows with human oversight; verify AI-generated output for reliability, security, performance and compliance.
• Drive production readiness (observability, supportability) and turn prototypes into reusable assets, playbooks and accelerators.
• Lead demos and pilots, drive adoption and track benefit realisation; contribute to pre-sales solution shaping.

What you bring

• Experience in software engineering, solution architecture, technical or business consulting, or a comparable customer-facing role.
• Ability to independently lead customer workstreams from discovery through deployment and adoption.
• Working financial-services domain knowledge (banking or insurance) and hands-on experience applying AI, generative AI, RAG, tool calling and agent orchestration.
