Capgemini is hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer specializing in AI solution delivery for the insurance industry, leading engagements from discovery through production deployment. The role combines insurance domain expertise with Google Cloud's AI ecosystem to design, build and scale agentic AI solutions for underwriting, claims, pricing, distribution and servicing.
What they're looking for
- 5+ years in solution engineering, AI engineering, forward-deployed engineering, consulting or enterprise application development, preferably client-facing.
- Hands-on GenAI and agentic AI experience on Google Cloud (Vertex AI, Gemini, BigQuery, Agent Builder, Cloud Run).
- Strong grasp of LLM application design, prompt engineering, agent orchestration, RAG, evaluation frameworks and AI governance.
- Experience integrating enterprise applications, APIs, data platforms and workflows, and rapidly prototyping from concept to working demo within days.
- Understanding of P&C, Life, Reinsurance or Specialty insurance operations; Google Cloud certifications and Guidewire or Duck Creek experience are a plus.
Permanent role based in Hartford, CT, 3 days a week in office. Base compensation range for the posted location: $85,000 to $95,000.
