GECX AI Forward Deployed Engineer - Senior Software Engineer

Capgemini is hiring a hands-on GECX AI Forward Deployed Engineer to design, build, integrate, deploy and troubleshoot production-grade customer-experience and agentic AI solutions on Google Cloud, working directly with customer engineering teams. Hybrid role.

What you'll do

• Design and build production-grade conversational and agentic AI applications on Google Cloud, hands-on in Python, APIs and JSON.
• Build and troubleshoot CES / GECX integrations; build agents with Gemini, Vertex AI and Google ADK, including tool/function calling, state/context management and orchestration.
• Develop RAG and enterprise-grounding solutions and integrate agents with enterprise APIs, databases, CRM, contact-center platforms and backend systems.
• Implement secure auth, IAM and secrets management; deploy on GCP; add agent evaluation, tracing, observability, guardrails and regression testing.
• Diagnose production issues across agent logic, prompts, retrieval, tools, APIs and infrastructure, and work directly with customer engineering teams to resolve blockers.

What you bring

• 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong hands-on Python/software engineering; Gemini / generative AI application development, Vertex AI and agentic AI architectures.
• REST APIs / JSON, RAG / embeddings / enterprise grounding, GCP deployment, IAM / security fundamentals and enterprise integration.
• Google ADK, CES / GECX, contact-center / CCaaS integration, multi-agent architectures, MCP / A2A, agent evaluation and observability, streaming APIs and telephony integrations.
