Forward Deployed Engineer

What you'll do

• Deploy, configure and support DNSPM, DDoSPM, CSPM and SSPM in customer environments, owning deployments end to end.
• Configure integrations, permissions, policies and alerting, and validate data collection, asset discovery and findings.
• Diagnose DNS resolution, delegation and DNSSEC problems, and investigate BGP routing, ASN mappings, RPKI validation and DDoS protection coverage.
• Help customers prioritize remediation, feed structured field feedback to Product and Engineering, and build scripts, automations and templates that make deployments repeatable.
• Improve technical documentation and mentor newer team members.

What you bring

• 2+ years of hands-on engineering in cloud security, networking, cybersecurity, infrastructure or forward deployed engineering; a CS, InfoSec or engineering degree or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on experience securing workloads on AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.
• Strong networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/TLS, routing, NAT, firewalls, load balancing) and solid DNS security knowledge.
• Python plus Bash or PowerShell, REST APIs, JSON, Git and Linux.
• Clear communication and confidence leading live troubleshooting calls with technical and executive stakeholders.

Nice to have: cloud security certifications (AWS Security, AZ-500, GCP Security Engineer, CCSK, CCSP), SaaS administration (Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Okta, Salesforce), compliance frameworks, Terraform/CloudFormation or Kubernetes, DDoS mitigation concepts, and docs-as-code experience.

Entry-level role with a path toward Senior FDE, Solutions Architect or team lead.
