Forward Deployed Engineer, AI Transformation - Senior Vice President

Be at the forefront of Citi's AI transformation, partnering directly with business process owners and technology leaders to reimagine and re-engineer core business processes, define principled approaches to agentic solution design, and build reference solutions using Citi's AI capabilities, including its growing set of AI agents.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze business processes, workflows and pain points with stakeholders; prioritize high-impact AI opportunities.
• Design and rapidly prototype AI-powered solutions (POCs and MVPs).
• Act as technical liaison between business users and core engineering teams.
• Define KPIs to measure the effectiveness and ROI of AI initiatives.
• Drive adoption of reference solutions, document new AI-driven processes, and train and apprentice future experts.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years in a hands-on technical role (software engineering, data science or ML engineering).
• Deep hands-on experience with LLMs and AI agents, core ML concepts, NLP and data modeling.
• Strong communication and business acumen; forward deployed, consulting or client-facing experience and AWS/GCP/Azure AI services are a plus.
