Senior Forward Deployed Engineer

Momentuum blue is Coforge's Forward Deployed Engineering unit. It embeds small pods (one Senior FDE, associate FDEs and AI agents) inside client organisations to ship production AI systems in banking and financial services, insurance, travel, healthcare, hi-tech and retail.

What you'll own:

• A client outcome end to end, from the first ambiguous conversation to a production system.
• Lead a pod: set technical direction, review associate FDEs' work and own what the pod ships.
• Architect and ship into production inside the client's security model, data residency rules and legacy stack.
• Act as the engagement's de facto CTO, turning ambiguous problems into scope and shipped software.
• Transfer capability to the client's team, and feed field lessons into Momentuum blue's FDE academy.

Who thrives here: 6–10 years shipping production software with customer-facing, embedded or consulting-adjacent delivery; has put an agentic system into production in a regulated or constrained environment; has led a small team; uses agentic coding tools daily; works across Anthropic, OpenAI, Google and NVIDIA stacks.

Note: not remote-first; the role lives at the client site during active engagements. Hubs: NYC, Princeton NJ, Dallas TX, Chicago IL and Santa Clara CA.
