As a Forward Deployed Engineer in Cognizant Consulting you'll partner directly with clients to rapidly design, build and deploy AI, data, cloud and digital solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes, acting as a trusted technical advisor. This is a remote position open to applicants in the United States (occasional travel to client sites). 5+ years in software engineering, solution architecture or customer-facing engineering; Python, Java, C#, JS/TS or Go; Azure/AWS/GCP cloud-native experience.
What you'll do:
- Lead discovery workshops and technical assessments and turn business needs into solution architectures and roadmaps.
- Design, develop and deploy cloud-native applications, APIs, microservices and enterprise integrations.
- Build GenAI, agentic AI, ML and RAG solutions, including AI copilots, intelligent workflows and autonomous agents.
- Own technical delivery through production readiness and adoption.
