Forward Deployed Engineer

A senior technical leadership role in Cognizant's Frontier Engineering track (Distinguished Frontier Engineer level) that designs the enterprise-scale AI systems behind Cognizant's most complex client transformations, sets enterprise AI architecture and responsible-AI standards, and technically leads cohorts of Frontier Engineers.

What you'll do:

• Design AI-native enterprise architectures and human-agent capability matrices for delivery programmes.
• Author guardrail specifications for agentic systems at enterprise scale.
• Lead client architecture review workshops and produce context-pipeline blueprints.
• Architect responsible-AI frameworks and regulated AI decisioning systems.
