Forward Deployed Engineer
CoMavenAI is hiring Forward Deployed Engineers to embed with client teams and turn ambiguous business problems into working production software and AI systems.
What you'll do
- Embed with client teams to understand workflows and where software and AI can help
- Translate messy business problems into scoped, shippable solutions
- Build and deploy production software end to end — discovery through design, implementation, testing, and operations
- Run sprint demos and working sessions with client stakeholders
- Work daily with AI development tools and agentic workflows, with judgment over what they produce
- Partner with company leadership on solution direction and client strategy
What they're looking for
- 1–5 years of software engineering experience
- CS or similar degree; solid fundamentals in at least one language/framework and modern stacks
- Comfort with clients, ambiguity, and ownership of outcomes
- Enthusiasm for AI-assisted development with discipline to verify and test
Location: Charlotte, NC — remote to start, hybrid once the Charlotte office opens; in-person client work and occasional travel.
