Engineer Lead (FDE) - AI Assurance and Evaluations

Elevance Health is hiring an Engineer Lead (FDE – Forward Deployment Engineer) for AI Assurance and Evaluations, responsible for full delivery of end-to-end system development and maintenance on enterprise technology platforms.

What you'll do

• Work with customers to gather business requirements and review designs with the business.
• Perform technical design reviews and code reviews; ensure unit and system testing meet the plan.
• Improve stability, performance and scalability of business-critical systems; own system monitoring and on-call coordination.
• Lead multiple or large projects and vendor evaluation.

Requirements

• BA/BS in IT, Computer Science or related field and 7+ years of related experience, or equivalent.
• Preferred: Python for evaluation utilities, test harnesses, data pipelines and automation; REST/JSON API testing; unit/integration/end-to-end test automation integrated into CI; working knowledge of LLM fundamentals.

Hybrid (in office 1–2 days per week) in Atlanta, GA, Indianapolis, IN or Mason, OH. Posting open until 2026-11-13.
