Engineer Lead FDE - Production and Enablement

Elevance Health is hiring an Engineer Lead (FDE – Forward Deployment Engineer) for Production & Enablement, responsible for full delivery of end-to-end system development and maintenance on enterprise technology platforms.

What you'll do

• Work with customers to gather business requirements and review designs with the business.
• Improve stability, performance and scalability across business-critical systems.
• Perform technical design reviews and code reviews; ensure unit and system testing meet the plan.
• Coordinate on-call support and own system monitoring.
• Lead multiple or large projects and vendor evaluation.

Requirements

• BA/BS in IT, Computer Science or related field and 7+ years of related experience, or equivalent.
• Preferred: clear technical writing (runbooks, implementation guides, API docs); Python/JavaScript/SQL scripting and proofs-of-concept to automate workflows and validate integrations; proficiency with AI-assisted tools.

Hybrid (in office 1–2 days per week) in Atlanta, GA, Indianapolis, IN or Mason, OH. Posting open until 2026-11-13.
