Principal Engineer - FDE

The Principal Engineer – FDE at Elevance Health works with business and technology stakeholders to develop and deliver end-to-end application technology products and services for enterprise technology platforms.

What you'll do

• Set the applications architecture vision and make sure components are designed and reused well across products.
• Lead technical design reviews and testing, and assess how solutions integrate.
• Own the end-to-end technical mission: turn ambiguous business problems into working production solutions, from architecture and rapid prototyping through integration, testing, deployment and stabilization.
• Design and build hands-on across AI, applications, APIs, data, cloud and legacy platforms while guiding other FDEs and federated engineering partners.
• Build security, privacy, compliance, evaluations, observability and reliability into solutions from day one.

Requirements

• BA/BS in IT, Computer Science or related field and 11+ years of experience, or equivalent.
