eSimplicity is a digital services company that partners with US federal agencies. Its Rapid Innovation Center (RIC) is hiring a Staff Forward Deployed Engineer, Platform: a hands-on, staff-level individual contributor who turns ambiguous operational and mission problems into working prototypes and MVPs, and builds the platform, DevOps, cloud and integration foundations behind them.

What you'll do:

  • Work mainly with internal program teams, executives, BU CTOs and security leaders (and with government customers when needed) to frame high-value problems.
  • Contribute directly to architecture, code, integrations, AI applications, data solutions and platform services.
  • Build reusable platform capabilities: CI/CD templates, infrastructure as code, secure cloud patterns, observability and developer workflows.
  • Mature successful work into reference architectures and transition plans, and mentor engineers.

Requirements: BS in CS or a related field; 7+ years of hands-on software, data, platform, cloud or AI engineering; strong platform engineering, DevOps, cloud, CI/CD and observability; experience integrating LLM and agentic approaches in secure environments; ability to obtain a Public Trust; US residency. This position is contingent on contract award.
