Financial Services - Forward Deployed Engineer - Technology Consulting - Manager

Hands-on Lead Forward Deployed Engineer (Manager) on EY’s Financial Services Office (FSO) Technology Consulting team. Own end-to-end delivery of AI-native systems for a single client engagement in regulated industries (tax, finance, risk)—from problem definition through production under real client constraints.

Responsibilities

• Own outcome delivery: scoping, tradeoffs, technical direction, and production readiness
• Embed with the client; translate ambiguous needs into executable solutions under regulatory constraints
• Stay hands-on designing/building critical parts; dive into client systems, data, and codebases
• Deploy and stabilize solutions in the client environment; direct Implementation and Data Engineers
• Partner with control/cyber stakeholders so deployments meet safety, integrity, and cost constraints

Requirements

• 8+ years delivering complex enterprise systems (ideally regulated or client-facing)
• Hands-on depth across integration-heavy architectures, cloud, and distributed systems
• Experience with modern AI-enabled stacks (agentic systems, orchestration, LLM-backed services)
• Proven forward-deployed / customer-facing outcome ownership; lead a small team while remaining an IC
