Forward Deployed Engineering Manager, GenAI (Mandarin, English)

Lead a squad of AI/ML forward deployed engineers who code, debug and jointly deploy bespoke agentic solutions directly within customer environments, providing technical mentorship while aligning with Product, Engineering and Google Cloud regional sales leadership. Mandarin and English required.

What you'll do:

• Act as technical lead, setting code standards, architectural best practices and benchmarks for the team.
• Define requirements for high-value opportunities with business and tech leadership and deploy specialists (MLOps, GenMedia, agentic systems) to key accounts.
• Lead technical hiring for forward deployed engineering.
• Keep the team current on MCP, tool-calling and foundation models.
• Translate field insights into roadmaps and build internal tools.
