At Guac, you're solving grocery food waste with AI forecasting. As a Forward Deployed Engineer you'll be the technical bridge between products and grocery retailers—owning customer deployments end-to-end: scoping integrations, building data pipelines, extending the recommendation engine, and rolling out across hundreds of stores.

What you'll do:

Collaborate with customers' IT and supply-chain teams to integrate internal data systems
Design and build ETL pipelines (Python, Dagster, Pub/Sub) across large distributed datasets
Extend backend services (Python/FastAPI) and recommendation engines per customer
Expose data and systems to LLMs via MCP servers and tool-use APIs
