Associate, Forward Deployed Engineer

KPMG is hiring an Associate, Forward Deployed Engineer in its Advisory practice to rapidly build and deploy end-to-end generative AI systems for clients.

What you'll do:

• Build and deploy end-to-end AI systems, from problem framing and MVP to deployed workflow.
• Contribute to the technical design of AI agents, orchestration patterns and context engineering modules.
• Develop RAG pipelines and integrations with services such as Azure AI Search and Databricks.
• Implement testing and evaluation frameworks (golden sets, regression harnesses, red-teaming) for secure, auditable code.
• Deploy and maintain scalable AI microservices and containerized workloads, using CI/CD, unit tests and code reviews.

What you'll need:

• 1+ year of software engineering experience shipping production AI, ML or data-intensive applications.
• Bachelor's degree required (master's in CS, engineering, AI or related field preferred).
• Strong Python and experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex or Semantic Kernel.
• Cloud experience (preferably Azure) and Docker/Kubernetes; familiarity with Cursor, Claude Code or Copilot.
• A portfolio, GitHub repository or system walk-through; domestic travel. No visa sponsorship is available for this role.
