KPMG is hiring a Senior Associate, Forward Deployed Engineer for its Clients, Technology & Innovation (CT&I) organization to build and ship full-stack AI-native systems for enterprise clients.
What you'll do:
- Design, build and ship full-stack AI systems (UIs, APIs, data pipelines and foundation model integrations), taking them from MVP to hardened production.
- Own the architecture, security, scalability and resilience of your workstream under live enterprise workloads.
- Work in two-to-six-week sprints, iterating on direct user and client feedback.
- Implement evaluation disciplines and harness tooling, and turn learnings into reusable components.
- Join client discovery sessions and present working software through live demos; raise standards through code reviews, testing and documentation.
What you'll need:
- 4+ years shipping secure full-stack production software for data, ML and AI-native applications (Python, Go, Rust or Java).
- STEM bachelor's degree or five years of relevant experience.
- Experience hardening and operating distributed systems on Azure, AWS or GCP.
- Familiarity with frontier LLMs, AI coding harnesses (Claude Code, Cursor), agent frameworks, Model Context Protocol, context engineering and automated evaluation.
- Strong stakeholder-facing presence; ability to travel domestically. A portfolio or GitHub repository is a plus.
