The customer-focused Forward Deployed Engineer is the technical bridge between Optimizely's AI products and enterprise customers, designing, building and deploying AI-driven solutions that integrate with Optimizely's platforms.

What you'll do:

  • Collaborate with customers on AI use cases, data needs and integrations, translating objectives into technical plans using Optimizely AI (Opal).
  • Configure and deploy Opal, working with Optimizely products and customer tech stacks via public APIs.
  • Help design and build custom applications or connectors for AI workflows, especially RAG, using Optimizely APIs and pre-trained models.
  • Troubleshoot, debug and optimize deployed AI solutions.
  • Run workshops and knowledge transfer for customer teams.
