Forward Deployed Engineer

Parakeet Health builds AI voice agents and a patient-access platform for medical practices (400+ practices across 27 specialties). As one of the first dedicated Forward Deployed / Agent Engineers you'll be in customer calls several times a week, translating what practices need into decisions and working prototypes, holding context on both the customer's needs and the platform's capabilities, and deciding what gets built now versus what becomes a roadmap item.

What you'll do:

• Translate each practice's scheduling rules and workflow quirks into logic an AI agent can execute.
• Turn customer conversations into working prototypes within hours or days ("prototypes are the new PRDs").
• Own the gap between customer needs and platform capabilities and make build/defer calls.
