Forward Deployed Engineer

Pebbly Beach AI helps small and medium-sized enterprises adopt AI, delivering strategy, governance, data, technology and people change as one programme on Kelpie, its AI work platform.

The role: sit with clients remotely and in person as their day-to-day Pebbly lead, accountable for the engagement, across a portfolio of manufacturers, fabricators, construction, logistics and other non-tech businesses of 2 to 400 people.

• Train leaders and staff so Kelpie sticks in daily work.
• Map client data, set a single source of truth and drive the cleanup workflows need.
• Onboard clients, configure the Kelpie workspace and drive daily adoption.
• Prioritise problems, then design, build and refine production agents with the client and colleagues.
• Run the programme rhythm: weekly standups and written updates, monthly steering, and a record of value delivered.

Who you are: drive over qualifications; no CS degree required. Clear thinking, plain writing, comfort with people and technical detail, genuine interest in AI, and organised across several clients.

Location: remote across Australia and New Zealand, Southeast Asia, the Middle East and Africa, Europe and Latin America, with some travel.

Pay: market base, performance bonus and possible equity.
