Forward Deployed Engineer

Rondo builds AI agents that support hospital care coordination teams from admission through discharge: predicting discharge needs early, finding the right next care setting, and managing placement with skilled nursing, rehab and home health partners. Rondo is live in hospitals across the US and was built with Juxtapose.

The role

• Work alongside hospital care coordination teams to implement, configure and optimize Rondo, then turn what you learn into product.
• Integrate Rondo with existing EMR and hospital systems and translate real-world workflows into technical requirements.
• Deploy new features, troubleshoot production issues, manage data pipelines and keep the system reliable in high-stakes clinical settings.
• Prototype improvements, support user training and onboarding, and share learnings with engineering and product.

What you bring

• Software engineering fundamentals in a modern language such as Python or TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Systems integration and API experience with healthcare or enterprise data sources (EMRs, databases, messaging).
• Comfort with on-site work in hospitals: stakeholder interviews, workflow observation and hands-on implementation.
• A CS/engineering degree or equivalent experience; health IT experience strongly preferred, AI/ML familiarity a plus.
