Forward Deployed Engineer

Salesforce is hiring Forward Deployed Engineers — technical builders who design, build, and deploy complex agentic AI solutions directly inside enterprise customer environments, partnering with a Deployment Strategist to own customer outcomes end-to-end, from architecture decisions to production.

What you will build

• End-to-end build and deployment of agentic AI solutions for Salesforce's most strategic customers, through production handoff.
• Agentic systems on the Agentforce platform: agent logic, tool calls, multi-agent orchestration, deterministic guardrails and enterprise integration patterns.
• The data lifecycle: model design, processing pipelines and data readiness across Salesforce Data 360, Snowflake, Databricks and customer platforms.
• Resolving hard technical blockers — data integration failures, model deployment issues, orchestration breakdowns, performance regressions.
• Agent performance dashboards, customer KPI reporting, and fast proofs-of-concept and MVPs.

AI-supported engineering (Cursor, Claude, Salesforce Vibes) is part of the daily workflow, and field learnings feed directly into Product and Engineering. Office - Flexible, Johannesburg.
