Forward Deployed Engineer

Sixtyfour (YC P25) helps teams understand the people, companies, and entities they interact with, focused on compliance (AML/KYB), trust & safety, cybersecurity, and investigations, combining agents, LLMs, and large-scale data infrastructure.

Forward Deployed Engineers sit between customers and the codebase: roughly half the job is building the core product alongside engineering, the other half is deploying, extending, and tuning it inside real customer environments. Held to the same engineering bar as the rest of the team.

What you'll do:

• Ship production code in the core platform: backend services, APIs, data pipelines, search
• Build and productionize agent workflows and LLM-powered systems, including evals, guardrails, and cost/latency tuning
• Embed with customers and own technical delivery end to end: scoping, data onboarding, integration, and deployment into their infrastructure
• Push recurring patterns back into the core platform and bring field learnings to engineering and product

Looking for: 3–7 years of software engineering; strong backend and API design; Python and JavaScript/TypeScript; production/on-call experience; comfort in front of customers. US citizen/visa only.
