Forward Deployed Engineer

Tata Consultancy Services is hiring an entry-level Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) to work alongside customer and engineering teams to build, deploy and improve AI-powered applications in real-world enterprise environments, taking AI solutions from prototype to production.

What you'll do:

• Collaborate with customer teams and internal stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver AI solutions.
• Build integrations between AI services and enterprise systems, APIs and data platforms.
• Assist with agentic AI workflows, multi-agent systems and orchestration frameworks; develop data pipelines with vector databases and RAG architectures.
• Help create evaluation and observability frameworks, and troubleshoot integration and reliability issues with guidance from senior engineers.

Requirements: Bachelor's or master's in CS, IT, AI/ML, Data Science or related field; 0–3 years of experience; strong Python and AI/ML fundamentals (LLMs, generative AI); understanding of APIs, databases and software design; experience with AI-assisted coding tools; minimum GPA 3.0. Graduated between September 2024 and December 2026; no sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice to have: Java, Go or JavaScript/Node.js; AWS, Azure or GCP; exposure to vector databases, RAG pipelines or multi-agent systems.
