Trase builds an operating system for deploying, managing and governing AI agents in high-stakes environments such as healthcare and national security. As a Forward Deployed Engineer on the Leagues industry-verticals team, you'll build and deploy AI agents and applications on Trase OS for customers in healthcare, SLED, financial services or retail. Hiring at Mid, Senior and Staff levels.
What you'll do:
- Work directly with customers to map workflows, scope AI use cases and agree success measures.
- Build production-quality agents, applications, APIs and integrations, including backend services and UIs.
- Integrate customer systems, data sources and identity providers, and deploy in customer or Trase-managed environments.
- Build evaluations, tests, observability and human-review paths into agent workflows; debug production issues.
- Contribute reusable components and product feedback to the Origin and Arena platform teams.
Requirements: experience shipping production software; strong Python, Java or TypeScript; databases, backend services and integrations; cloud, containers, CI/CD and monitoring; practical understanding of LLM applications or AI agents.
