Forward Deployed Engineer (Contractor)

Contract Forward Deployed Engineer (via The Recruitment Company / TRC Group) to work with a leading technology business globally known for helping customers solve complex business challenges, enterprise implementations and transformations. Central Dublin, hybrid; initial 6-month contract with strong extension chance.

A hands-on, customer-facing engineering role at the intersection of software development, AI and business transformation: work closely with customer stakeholders to understand requirements, rapidly develop solutions and take them from initial concept through to production.

Requirements

• 8+ years software engineering experience designing, building and deploying production-ready applications and AI-enabled solutions
• Experience implementing AI platforms and integrating modern AI capabilities into complex enterprise environments
• Scalable software architecture with understanding of enterprise data, APIs, identity management, security and system integration
• Hands-on experience with generative AI, LLMs and AI-powered applications
• Cloud platforms, CI/CD and production deployment; strong stakeholder communication
