Forward Deployment Engineer

A Forward Deployed Engineer embedded with UHG business teams to find high-value problems and deliver AI-led automation under centralized council oversight. This is an execution role, not an advisory one: you own AI outcomes in a business domain through code-first delivery.

• Understand business processes, systems, data flows and success metrics, and turn problems into MVPs, integrations, automations and production solutions
• Run pilots and POCs from discovery to working solution
• Integrate with enterprise platforms, data systems and third-party APIs; document architectures and playbooks and feed field learnings into the product roadmap

Requirements: 4–8 years in AI-led engineering, implementation, product, consulting or customer-facing roles (posting lists 8–10 years under mandatory skills); hands-on coding in Python, JS/TS, Java, .NET/C# or Go; GenAI, LLMs, RAG, agents and prompt engineering; AWS, Azure or Google Cloud. Healthcare exposure is a plus.
