Yondu (YC) deploys robots into customer warehouses. As a Forward Deployed Engineer you'll use Yondu's tech stack to set up, run and debug its robotic systems on-site and be customer facing; the role does not require contributing to the codebase, and new graduates are welcome. A robotics generalist with a software background, comfortable in Linux/command line, with robot hardware familiarity and electrical debugging skills; willing to travel to customer sites.

What you'll do:

  • Set up, run and debug robot deployments in customer warehouses.
  • Own each deployment until it runs reliably for the customer.
  • Nice to have: ROS/ROS 2, AMRs/robot arms/humanoids, warehouse automation experience.
