AI startup HumanTronik acquires CloudMoyo, adding 300-plus consultants to embed its agents with customers

HumanTronik, founded this year by Icertis co-founder Monish Darda, has bought Bellevue tech services firm CloudMoyo, which will sell and implement HumanTronik's AI agents under a "Service as Software" model that GeekWire ties to the rise of forward deployed engineers.

HumanTronik, an AI startup co-founded earlier this year by Icertis co-founder Monish Darda and investor Kabir Narang, has acquired CloudMoyo, the Bellevue, Washington tech services firm Darda helped spin out of Icertis in 2015, GeekWire reported on October 23. Terms were not disclosed. CloudMoyo keeps its name and customer contracts, and CEO Manish Kedia continues to run it day to day.

HumanTronik builds what it calls "human language models": AI that learns how specific executives make decisions, powering agents inside Microsoft Outlook, Teams and other workplace software. CloudMoyo, which has more than 300 consultants and an engineering center in Pune, will now sell and implement that technology alongside its existing work, which has shifted toward building AI tools on Microsoft Fabric for customers such as Expeditors and Ferromex. Kedia said that AI business is growing about 100%.

Kedia describes the model as "Service as Software": customers pay for software with CloudMoyo's ongoing support built into the subscription, and pricing is moving from per-user fees toward fees based on results. GeekWire places the deal in the wider blurring of software and services, including the rise of forward deployed engineers who work inside customers' businesses.

For FDEs, it is another sign that AI product companies are buying implementation capacity rather than building it from scratch. The combined company plans to open an engineering center in San Francisco and to hire engineering, product and sales staff in the Seattle area.
