FPT and NAVER Cloud will run joint FDE exchanges as they take AI agents to enterprise customers across Asia-Pacific
Vietnam's FPT and South Korea's NAVER Cloud signed an MOU to expand FPT AI Factory across Asia-Pacific, including regular technical exchange programs to strengthen their forward deployed engineering capabilities.
FPT and NAVER Cloud signed a memorandum of understanding in Hanoi on 12 October 2026 to grow FPT's AI Factory business across Asia-Pacific and other markets. The two companies also plan to offer NAVER Cloud's HyperCLOVA X model to FPT's enterprise customers through FPT AI Factory.
The FDE angle: the partners say they will run regular technical exchange programs to strengthen their forward deployed engineering capabilities, involving FPT engineers and teams from NAVER Cloud's Vietnam Development Center and headquarters. These joint teams will work directly with customers on everything from GPU infrastructure and inference tuning to deploying AI agents in production.
FDE work in Asia is not limited to frontier labs. Here a Vietnamese IT services group and a Korean cloud provider are building it into an infrastructure-plus-model offering. For engineers in Vietnam and Korea, the deal points to more customer-facing roles that combine GPU and inference work with shipping agents into production.
