ITC Infotech launches VANGUARDS, an embedded Forward Deployed Engineering cadre
On 5 October 2026, ITC Infotech announced VANGUARDS, a selective FDE program that embeds engineers inside client environments to move enterprise AI from experimentation to production outcomes.
ITC Infotech launched VANGUARDS, its flagship Forward Deployed Engineering program, from Bengaluru on 5 October 2026. The company positions the cadre at the intersection of technology, AI, business and consulting, with engineers working inside client environments rather than only from a central delivery center.
According to the company, VANGUARDS uses a selective assessment across technology, AI, business and consulting, then trains selected engineers in strategic opportunity discovery, advanced AI and data architecture, and value advocacy. The stated aim is faster paths from concept to production and tighter alignment between business and technology teams.
MD and CEO Manas Chakraborty framed the launch as a response to enterprises shifting from AI experimentation to execution at scale. For FDE candidates and hiring managers, it is another large services firm formalizing an embedded, outcome-led deployment model alongside peers that have already stood up dedicated FDE benches.
