Jasper expands its forward-deployed team, pairing engineers with marketers inside enterprise marketing orgs
In an Oct 28 blog post, AI marketing platform Jasper said it is adding more forward-deployed engineers and marketing experts who work alongside customer teams, with marketers defining what good work looks like and engineers turning that into tested, integrated workflows.
Jasper, whose AI marketing platform it says is used by more than 900 enterprises including 20% of the Fortune 500, announced on October 28 that it is expanding its forward-deployed model and increasing the number of engineers and marketing experts who work directly with customer teams.
The model pairs the two roles. Forward-deployed marketers, who have run campaigns, launches and localization programs themselves, work with a customer's brand experts to write down an agreed standard for good work. Engineers then encode that standard as repeatable evaluations, build the integrations and automations on Jasper IQ and its agents, and use the results to decide where AI can act alone and where a person must review. Engagements run in three steps: define the workflow and success measures, build and validate, then upskill the customer team and expand.
Jasper cites two examples: a global enterprise that cut average translation timelines from 22 to 13 days, and a global bank that increased its citations across leading LLMs by 114% within two weeks. It also says it nearly doubled enterprise ARR over the past year.
Why it matters for FDEs: this is another vertical AI vendor building out the FDE model, and its emphasis on evals as the core engineering deliverable, with a domain expert working alongside the engineer, matches what companies such as Profound and Hakuhodo DY are doing in marketing.
