Seekr opens a London office with forward-deployed engineers for UK and European sovereign AI deployments
On October 15, explainable-AI vendor Seekr opened its first European office in Mayfair, London, staffing it with forward-deployed engineers who run governable AI inside customers’ own cloud, on-prem, edge or air-gapped environments across UK defence and regulated enterprise.
Seekr, which builds explainable and sovereign AI for enterprises and government, announced on October 15 that it has opened its first European office in Mayfair, London. The move follows existing UK customers and a growing pipeline in defence, FTSE-listed firms and other regulated industries that want AI they can govern, audit and run under local law.
The London team includes forward-deployed engineers who sit with customers in regulated, secure and sovereign environments—UK cloud regions, on-premises, at the edge, or fully air-gapped—so deployments stay under the customer’s control. Seekr says the platform traces each output back through data, content, model and agent behaviour so teams can verify results before scaling agentic AI from pilots into day-to-day operations.
Former Palantir executive Naief Al-Shibli joins as VP and UK General Manager to lead sales; David Church becomes Managing Director of UK operations. For FDEs, the story is another sovereign-AI vendor putting field engineers on the ground in Europe rather than serving the region remotely from the US.
