A DATA WORLD study of 326 Japanese job ads at 168 companies for FDE-type work finds 70% hand one engineer everything from customer interviews to production and adoption support, while just 3% make domain knowledge a must. At least 41 manufacturers, banks and utilities, led by Aisin, Honda and Mizuho, are hiring for the same work under other titles.
