Insight Enterprises becomes an OpenAI Advanced Partner and expands its forward-deployed expert teams for midmarket AI
Solutions integrator Insight Enterprises (NASDAQ: NSIT) was named an OpenAI Advanced Partner on Oct 21 and says it is investing in a dedicated OpenAI Center of Excellence while expanding its sales, solution architecture, engineering and forward-deployed expert teams.
Insight Enterprises, the Chandler, Arizona solutions integrator, announced on October 21 that it has been named an OpenAI Advanced Partner in the OpenAI Partner Network. The company is aiming the partnership at midmarket and lower-enterprise organizations that want to move AI projects from pilots into production.
To meet demand, Insight says it is investing in a dedicated OpenAI Center of Excellence and expanding specialized capabilities across its sales, solution architecture, engineering and forward-deployed expert teams. Through its Radius offerings it will help clients adopt ChatGPT Enterprise, Codex, agentic solutions and custom AI applications, and the two companies plan to collaborate on client adoption, industry solutions and joint go-to-market work.
Why it matters for FDEs: model vendors are increasingly pushing deployment work out to partners, and large integrators like Insight are responding by growing forward-deployed teams of their own. That widens the FDE job market beyond AI labs and startups to channel partners serving mid-sized companies, where engineers often cover a broad mix of data, governance, security and change-management problems on each engagement.
