Salesforce plans to double its UK forward deployed engineering team to about 95
At Dreamforce 2026, Salesforce UK's SVP of Solutions Engineering said the company will double UK FDE capacity to roughly 95 engineers embedded with customers to drive Agentforce adoption.
Salesforce says it will double the size of its forward deployed engineering unit in the UK. Paul O'Sullivan, SVP of Solutions Engineering at Salesforce UK, told ITPro at Dreamforce 2026 that the expansion will bring the UK total to about 95 FDEs, who are embedded with customers to help their staff use Salesforce's agentic AI tools and build custom agents.
The FDE group sits apart from Salesforce's existing professional services organization. O'Sullivan said the 95 UK engineers connect to an existing wider team of 330, and Salesforce's careers site lists open FDE roles across products including Agentforce and Data 360.
Why it matters: this is one of the larger publicly stated FDE headcount plans in the UK from a single vendor, and it follows Salesforce taking its partner FDE program to South Africa. For engineers in London and across the UK, it means a steady stream of customer-embedded agent-building roles at a large, established employer.
